Your tasks
There will be 3 externals dedicated to this project to access the risks and control gaps for the Data Center Transformation program. This is a multi-year program that will span several years and data centers across the global organization. The first 12 months are focused on the EMEA data center locations
Project activity - Assess and review IT Security controls for applications transitioning to a cloud environment
Perform IT security risk assessments on IT applications
Review and understand security architecture diagrams, data flows etc.
Review relevant documentation pertaining to the application
Identify gaps
Liaise with the ITRS consulting team to obtain risk levels for the gaps
Define mitigating controls for the gaps
Work with the PM to prepare any gap presentations to the Primary Asset Owner
Your qualifications
15 years of working experience with a minimum of 5 years as IT security officer
Technical degree (preferably in IT) or an IT expert with outstanding knowledge of IT infrastructure and experience of several years in security
A solid understanding of security best practices and international standards such as ISO2700, NIST and PCI DSS
Knowledge and experience of Information Security Risk and Security governance
Basic knowledge of laws applicable in offices in the area of responsibility
Advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls, security and risk issues
Demonstrated ability to participate in complex, comprehensive or large projects and initiatives
Information Security Certification / Accreditation is an asset (nice to have)
Customer orientation, strong negotiating and problem solving skills (nice to have)
Initiative, creativity and an open mind for innovation (nice to have)
Strong planning, organizational and presentation skills (nice to have)
Language skills required: English and German
