Goals
The application owner of Reverse Proxy application is responsible of
- Be accountable for 99.9 availability of this application,.
- Be accountable for RunOps support team : Interface with key stakeholders, translate marketing-made request into technically-valid, security-compliant proposals.
- Industrialize the reverse proxy support activities as much as possible.
- Provide architectural governance for web traffic routing.
- Follow and implement global security guidelines.
- Interface reverse proxy environment with several different teams : cloud architecture, cloud security, cloud operators, DNS operators, PKI
operators, web security, global internet security.
- Interface reverse proxy frontend with CDN/WAF layer.
- Interface reverse proxy backend with several applications, such as SDL Tridion CMS, Oracle ATG, Java Tomcat custom builds, Lambda/S3 restful applications, or cloud microservices.
Skills required
Ability to organize, execute, govern, orchestrate, in a multicultural environment.
Mandatory
- Apache httpd and Linux Operating system.
- AWS (Compute, Networking (ELB/ALB/NLB), S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53). Certification is a plus (Solutions Architect Associate, or DevOps, or Network Specialist, or Security Specialist).
- DNS (Records, delegation, forwarding, geoDNS). Fluency with all types of records, registrar procedures.
- TLS Certificates and ciphers, trusted third parties, validation, revocation. Certificates Lifecycle management.
- Web Security concepts and basic ethical hacking skills (nmap, burpsuite, curl), Web browser’s network debugger.
Nice to Have
- Akamai ION, KRS, AIM, Botmanager, or similar competitor products (Cloudflare).
- DDoS mitigation.
- CI/CD tools : Bitbucket, Github Enterprise, Ansible, Logz.io.,
- Logz.io or ELK
- Basic SEO Concepts (google).
- Performance concepts (latency, caching, Google KPIs). Knowledge of mpulse, dynatrace, gomez or similar is a plus.
- Scripting (shell, python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, NoOps, A/B, green/blue concepts.
Experience
10 years expected in webservers and/or Linux OS and/or networking fields. Large corporations are a plus.
