Mission: Creating a development platform around an ARM and based on a GNU-Linux

                 Kernel

 The project consists of three main parts:

*The elaboration of a custom GNU-Linux embedded distribution (from scratch) that targets an ARM architecture.

Creating a consistent tool chain which consists of a compiler “gcc” and C library “uClibc” …

from the source code.

*The development of a specific  bootloader for the target card (LPC2212) that allows the initialization of the hardware, then it loads a kernel and root filesystem from an external flash to an external RAM (size 1MB) and finally launches this core.

*The development of Linux driver for a serial device.

Mission: EmberZNet Stack Exploration within STMW32 microcontroller

The project involves the development of a sensor network with a mesh topology that implements the ZigBee protocol. Nodes must collect acceleration and temperature and send it to a central node.

03/04-19/05/2011: End of second Year Project

Mission: Error handling in a production system

Realization of an Eclipse Plug-in that allows the user to model a real-time system using RdP. A diagnostician generates all possible scenarios and discusses the states of defects and malfunction.

03/07-20/09/2010: Summer internship

Mission: Fractal 3D Simulator of geographic area

Implementation of a simulator mimicking a geographical terrain using the mid-point Displacement algorithm.
